Business Problem

The National Lockbox web application, which supports hundreds of banking customers daily, needed enhancements including a user-configurable email notification interface.

Responsibilities

- Developed enhancements to the National Lockbox web application using Servlets, Java Beans, SQL, JavaScript and HTML, which supports hundreds of banking customers on a daily basis - Incorporated an interface to allow users to enter their notification criteria based upon which they will receive emails (reported zero flaws since deployment) - Installed and configured iPlanet web server in development and QA environments for the National Lockbox web application - Collaborated with the Business group to refine requirements for this development project - Worked with the QA group to resolve issues during the testing phase of the software development life cycle - Wrote multiple backend Java and Unix shell script programs to monitor the performance for the National Lockbox web application - Planned, created and executed Loadrunner and WinRunner test scripts - Instituted automated system for compiling and deploying code to development, test and production environments using ANT - Participated in the creation and peer review of CMM documents for software design
