Business Problem

Technical Architecture

- Web service client integration with third-party translation vendor - Message-driven beans (MDBs) polling JMS queues for asynchronous message processing - JAXB and XMLBeans for XSD-to-Java class translation (XML marshal/un-marshal) - Ant-based build process - Custom error handling mechanism alerting production support on fatal errors

Challenges

Coordinating test plans and workflow delivery across multiple teams within the Fortune 500 hospitality company organization while meeting critical path milestones

Results

Delivered all critical workflow components and test activities on time; obtained client sign-off for production deployment via organized performance testing

Leadership

Moved to a technical lead role in Phase 2, leading 5 resources through build, testing, and delivery; ran weekly status meetings with development resources
