Business Problem
the Fortune 500 hospitality company needed an update to the hotel search results on the client's website, including an asynchronous (Ajax) display of hotel information and an improved property-dimension search solution.
Responsibilities
- Led the technical team that implemented an update to the hotel search results of the client's website - Designed and received approval from the client's architect for an Ajax implementation used to display hotel information asynchronously - Managed and led 3 developers through the build and test phase of the project - Worked with the project manager to develop a schedule for the project - Collaborated with the business unit to define requirements in the component specification and use case documents - Planned and defined a schedule to translate any new content for this release - Communicated the status of the build phase of the project to all stakeholders on a weekly basis - Conducted detail design and code review meetings with the client's SME and technical architect to reach sign-off during the build phase - Managed the client architect and Endeca consultant to drive out a searching solution for the Fortune 500 hospitality company's property dimensions - Installed and initiated Cruise Control (continuous build process) during the build phase to eliminate defects quickly and give stakeholders an up-to-date view of project status
